New global prize to innovative governance project
The Global Governance Innovation Network (GGIN) has won the first edition of the Prize for Transformative Futures in Peace and Security established by the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP).
GGIN was awarded primarily in recognition of its forthcoming report “Redefining Peace, Security & Humanitarian Action”, which will be released later in June (see link below).
GGIN brings together research and policy-making to address fundamental challenges, threats, and opportunities, and focuses on the development of institutional, policy, legal, and normative improvements in global governance architecture.
About the prize and Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP)
The Prize for Transformative Futures in Peace and Security seeks to reward groundbreaking concepts that offer exceptional promise in addressing peace and security challenges. is a foundation promoting knowledge, skills and network in international co-operation decision-making.
Prize winners receive CHF 15,000 and attend a two-month fellowship programme at the GCSP.
The mission of Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) is to advance peace, security and international cooperation.
