COP28 – partner events
Among the numerous talks and dialogues we are looking forward to at COP28, we are especially excited about seminars featuring partners of the Foundation. Below is a small selection of the many interesting meetings and events where our partners are hosting or participating.
2 December

The Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty Initiative is hosting a High-Level Party Event. For additional details on how to attend, see their website on this event, and to discover more about their initiatives at COP28.

Plataforma CIPÓ is organising an event discussing the role of the G20 in promoting climate finance and sustainable development on the road to COP30.
4 December
11:30-12:30 GST (GMT+4)
The Sustainable Finance Lab will be present at the Roundtable event on Leveraging Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) for Climate and Development
The event will be held at the Al Saih Roundtable, Blue Zone.
9 December
16:00-17:00 GST (GMT+4)
IPBES chairman, David Obura, will be present at “Unheard Voices – Emerging Leadership in Coral Conservation and Restoration from the Global South”. The discussion aims to amplify the often overlooked voices of the Global South. More information can be found here.
