Global Catastrophic Risks 2016
The first report in the Global Catastrophic Risks series argues for the necessity of addressing the issue of a certain type of global risk: a global catastrophic risk. In addition to defining specific risks, their effects and the likelihood of them occurring, this takes a step further and tries to show how different risks relate to one another, what can be done to address them, and provide guidelines on who can and should do this. Authors: Owen Cotton- Barratt, Sebastian Farquhar, John Halstead, Stefan Schubert of The Global Priorities Project, and Andrew Snyder-Beattie, Future of Humanity Institute.
