The Global Policy Dialogue on Climate Governance: Innovating the Paris Agreement & Beyond, will be hosted on 23 October in Seoul as part of the Global Green Growth Week. The meeting is organized by the Global Challenges Foundation in collaboration with the Global Green Growth Institute, the Stimson Center and the Governments of the Republic of Korea and Japan.
The Global Policy Dialogue on Climate Governance is opened by Mr. Ban Ki-moon, President of Assembly and Chair of the Council of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI).
The dialogueis between a number of experts from policy institutions, think tanks and academia who discuss solutions to build capacity for global governance, in order to reach the goals articulated by the Paris Agreement. Solutions concern novel approaches of engaging local governments, civil society and the business community as well as global governance reforms in existing economic and legal institutions. The solutions are currently being developed in the consultations coordinated by Together First.
