Fabrizio Hochschild Drummond, Under-Secretary General with special responsibility for the UN75 agenda, invites Augusto López- Claros for a visit on December 16 to the UN Secretariat in New York.
Augusto López- Claros is the working group coordinator of Global Governance and the Emergence of Global Institutions for the 21st Century and winner of the Global Challenges Foundation’s New Shape Prize.
For its 75th anniversary, the UN wants to set in motion a set of conversations focused on three questions: What kind of future do we want to create? Are we on track? What action is needed to bridge the gap? These questions, in a very clear way, mirror the questions addressed in “Global Governance and the Emergence of Global Institutions for the 21st Century”.
The Global Challenges Foundation is looking forward to be a part of the change global cooperation needs for UN75, and that Mr. López- Claros’ working group will have opportunities to help the United Nations with their new ideas for governance.
