Analysis & research
The Global Challenges Foundation wants to see new global governance models that can help mitigate or eliminate global catastrophic risk. This calls for better knowledge of those risks, and insights on the possible structures that could best address them. This is why the Foundation actively supports researchers and projects that offer original analysis or summarize existing knowledge in the field.
The Foundation also conducts opinion polls on people's attitudes to global catastrophic risks and global cooperation, in collaboration with leading polling companies. The purpose of this work is to disseminate knowledge both to decision-makers and to the general public, in order to accelerate the upgrade of our global governance structures, and be better prepared for the challenges we face.
