How should we deal with global catastrophic risks such as climate change, weapons of mass destruction and ecological collapse? The international community has not yet adapted to contemporary issues. Could a world parliament be the answer to the need to reform global governance?

On Thursday, October 25th between 15:00 and 17:00, the Global Challenges Foundation, together with Democracy Without Borders and the Institute for Future Studies, organizes a seminar where the book "A World Parliament: Governance and Democracy in the 21st Century" by Andreas Bummel is presented and discussed.
